Hildi Striped Cardigan Sweater | Gentle Fawn

The Hildi Cardigan by Gentle Fawn is one of those lightweight knits that makes fall layering easy. Designed in a rich Fig Stripe with burgundy wine and soft ivory tones, it has a flattering V-neckline, button front and beautiful detailing through the shoulders that gives this classic cardigan a little something extra.

Wear it buttoned as a top with high-rise denim or trousers, or leave it open over a fitted cami or tank. The lightweight knit also layers beautifully under a blazer or jacket without adding bulk.

FIT & FEEL

Fit: Relaxed without being oversized, with plenty of stretch through the knit. Gentle Fawn tends to fit generously, and we often find our customers are comfortable sizing down in their knits. If you're between sizes or prefer a slightly more fitted look, we'd recommend trying the smaller size.

Length: Hits around the natural waist on Casey at 5'5", making it especially flattering with high-rise denim and trousers. The sleeves fall just above the elbow with a relaxed shape and a fitted cuff that keeps them comfortably in place.

Feel: Incredibly soft, lightweight and stretchy with no itchiness. It's a beautiful lightweight fall knit that feels comfortable directly against the skin and layers easily under a blazer or jacket.

Casey's fit: Casey typically wears a Small or Medium in tops. She tried the XS in the Hildi and it fit comfortably with no pulling through the shoulders or bust and no gaping between the buttons. Given the choice, she would purchase the Small for the intended fit, but the XS worked well for a slightly more fitted look.

• Free shipping applies on Canadian orders of $150 or more, except in select remote regions
• Orders ship via Canada Post, Purolator, or UPS with tracking

Returns & Exchanges

Online Orders

• Returns or exchanges must be initiated within 14 days of delivery.
• Refunds are issued to the original payment method.
• Gift returns are eligible for store credit only.

In-Store Purchases

• Eligible for exchange or store credit only within 14 days of purchase.
• Original receipt required.

Local Pickup Orders

• Orders must be picked up within 5 business days of receiving your second pickup notification.
• Your 14-day return window begins on the day you pick up your order.
• If not picked up within 5 business days, the return window starts automatically on the 5th business day.

Return Conditions

All items must be:

• Unworn, unwashed, and in original condition
• With original tags attached
• Free of scent (perfume, smoke, deodorant, etc.)

All returns are inspected upon receipt. Items not meeting these conditions will be returned at the customer’s expense. Jolie Folie reserves the right to refuse any return that does not meet our standards.

Final Sale Items

Non-refundable & non-exchangeable:

• Items discounted 30% or more, clearance, Vault items
• Sale items marked as final sale
• Intimates (underwear, bralettes, bodysuits), swimwear
• Sunglasses and jewelry
• Skincare and body care

Exceptions – Online Only:

• One-time size exchange may be allowed for final sale apparel (subject to availability and approval)
• Requests must be made within 48 hours of delivery
• If the requested size is unavailable, store credit may be offered at our discretion
• Store credit has no expiry and is non-refundable

Gift Items:

• Final sale gifts may be eligible for store credit or exchange at our discretion

Loyalty Points & Returns

Purchases made using Jolie Folie Reward Points:

• Online: Eligible for refunds, exchanges, or store credit
• In-store: Eligible for exchanges or store credit only

• Loyalty points used on refunded orders are reissued automatically

Price Adjustments

• We do not offer price adjustments for sale events, discount codes, loyalty points, or price changes after purchase

How to Start a Return

1. Log into your account using the email used at checkout
2. Go to My Orders
3. Select the order and click Request Return
4. Follow the prompts and submit your request
5. Once approved, you’ll receive next steps by email

Do not ship items back without approval; unapproved returns may be refused.
If you cannot initiate a return online, email info@joliefolie.ca with your name, order number, and item details.

Return Shipping & Fees

• Refunds using a prepaid return label: $15 shipping & handling fee deducted ($20 for NL, NWT, Yukon and Nunavut)
• If choosing store credit, the handling fee is waived
• Exchanges available for items of equal or lesser value. Price differences must be paid if applicable
• Shipping fees are non-refundable
• Refunds processed within 7–10 business days after receipt and inspection of the return

Damaged Items

• Once approved, a return label will be provided with no handling fee
